I’m a glass maker so have a lot of fragile stuff to move. That plus the fact I have bad hips and can’t do much lifting and carrying… we knew moving was going to be stressful. Well, Strongman stepped up at the last minute to move us from a large 4 bed detached and 200+ boxes and a huge amount of garden furniture. We could not have wished for a better service. It was our first time using a removals company (too old to do it ourselves now) so we didn’t quite know what to expect. My main concern was getting the required dates as various solicitors kept saying go, then the move was postponed. Then go again, then stop again.Nick was fantastic in staying really flexible to accommodate our ever changing dates. Nothing was too much trouble.We got loaded on a Thursday, Nick & Raj were superb, (just keep them supplied with tea & everything is Golden) and as our move was quite a way, we got unloaded on a Saturday. Nick & Mark this time, did an equally great job in unloading into our new house. Again, tea & biscuits to keep them happy was not an issue!Everything was relaxed, good humoured & while this kind of stuff can never be a pleasure, it was as near as possible.A great company, good lads, highly recommended, especially if flexibility with dates is required as I couldn’t find any other firm that would be flexible.Thanks to Nick & the lads at Strongarm!

Strongman Removals were very accommodating even though our completion date kept moving. Mike and Nick arrived at the agreed time and moved the entire contents of our house in to the truck quickly and carefully. They went to great lengths to protect all of the delicate items and furniture. The gentlemen were very friendly and displayed good humour through the somewhat stressful process of moving home. Off-loading was similarly swift and seamless, and care was taken in the new property to cover new flooring to protect it from the toing and froing.As the purpose of a review is to assist your decision making, I would say that you should have no reservations about hiring the team for your move. I did make the mistake of packing the kettle, so it was not available during the move, but this was accepted without detriment to my goods ;-) Excellent staff and business.

We moved 31st January 2025 and these guys were amazing. We had the packing service as well as removals and nothing was chipped, broken or scratched despite having so much to move. Everything was packed so well and not sure how we would have got on without them. Downsizing from 5 bed to 3 bed is not easy but the guys took it all in their stride and we moved without the stress I was expecting! After arriving at our new home and beginning to unload everything from the vans, the street suffered a power cut, therefore the guys ended up working in to late afternoon using their mobile phone lights to reassemble furniture. Again they just got on with it and continued working until the job was completed. Thanks again to Mike, Nick and the team and I would highly recommend their services.

Throughout the whole process Strongman Removals has been fantastic! My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with our move last Thursday and Friday.From the initial quotation to the final delivery of our items, it’s been a smooth and transparent ride. Nick came in and gave us a competitive quote and was very friendly.They loaded up our property all in one day and took it early the next day. From quote to unloading and everything in between, I was thoroughly impressed with the professional approach Strongman Removals had. Nick was friendly and professional from the moment he entered our property and helped us throughout the process with anything we needed. Due to simultaneously exchanging and completing in the same day, the team of Raj, Mark and Jack were very understanding of the situation and helped to relieve the stress we had of actually moving house. Once again, they were extremely professional in their approach of taking apart our furniture and loading our belongings onto the vans. We received our keys very late in the day at 4:30 and on a Friday, however, the whole team reassured us they would stay until we needed them, both unloading the van and rebuilding our furniture, eventually leaving us around 7:30pm. For the service we received the price was extremely fair and I would have no hesitation recommending Strongman Removals to anyone moving home.

A fantastic service from Nick and the team on what can only be described as a lengthy wait to move. We kept Nick informed over numerous delays in our chain and he was patient in providing dates that he could do. We would definitely recommend strongman removals. The whole team were very professional and worked so hard over the two days. We went for the packing service which was incredible and great care was taken over all of our belongings. It was very short notice between exchanging and moving and thank you to Mike and Beverley who managed to organise it with only a week to go! Thank you!

I came across strongman removals & storage and spoke to Beverley who arranged everything, very friendly and professional. The removal guys turned up right on time and they certainly live up to their name, stronge men they arrived at destinations and had the furniture up two flights of stairs job was complete in 15 mins excellent service friendly very hardworking. I would highly recommend you use this company, you wont be disappointedNeil

After a a super stressful search for a removals company on the 18th December, I came across Strongman Removals who luckily had one slot available for such a busy date. From the get go they were super responsive, and really understanding about our date not being confirmed until last minute. I highly recommend them! Everyone was so lovely, and they were so speedy with packing up our house! They made the day go smoothly despite some troubles we had with completing!

We could not have asked for a better removals company to move my mom from our family home of 53 years to her new home. Mike, Bev, Stan and the guys could not have been more professional, friendly and aware of the enormity of the task for our mom. Can't recommend these guys enough. From start to finish they were such a support during what I can only describe as a very stressful time. We were given one weeks notice to move and Mike was on the doorstep with boxes within hours and fit us in, so we could move on the day given to us. They were so professional throughout the day despite being delayed on the hottest day of the year, and left waiting! Nothing was a problem and didnt leave until we were all settled in. Smashing job and a great team of guys, who we were thoroughly thankful to! Not that I ever want to, but if i were to move again, they'd be my first port of call and i have recommended them to everyone.Thank you all again!

Mike came out & on time gave man excellent estimate quote & reassurance on the level of service, price was down the middle between other quotes.
