We have used Strongman Removals today to move house. Mark and Chris were great, really helpful and respectful with all our items. Despite a difficult lot of steps, some heavy stuff and quite a wait for the completion to take place they remained in good humour and even assisted us with moving furniture about the new property left by the previous owner. I’m a glass maker so have a lot of fragile stuff to move. That plus the fact I have bad hips and can’t do much lifting and carrying… we knew moving was going to be stressful. Then we found out we were moving on Friday only 3 days before and the companies we’d had quotes from all bailed on us!Thankfully we had Strongman to the rescue!! The guys did an amazing job and properly got us sorted (Not one piece of glass broke!😁)I would 100% recommend them to anyone they were brilliant!

From first contact with this professional friendly team we started to feel relaxed at this very stressful time. We were moving quite a distance away, so there were complexities also involved.We met Nick on a few occasions, who came and advised about how best to plan move and took all the stress away from us.The team were all very professional, friendly and went above and beyond to support us throughout the removal. Every question we had was comprehensively answeredEvery aspect was was handled with respect for our property and us.The price for the removal and the team was extremely competitive.Highly recommend this company and wish them every success in future. Well, Strongman stepped up at the last minute to move us from a large 4 bed detached and 200+ boxes and a huge amount of garden furniture. We could not have wished for a better service. Nothing was too much trouble . Polite, professional, friendly and open to whatever we needed. The 3 lads worked their socks off and 2 hours past their clocking off time without complaint to make sure we were all sorted. Would highly recommend them. Thank You Strongman…..Nikki and Steve.

From the first contact I felt comfortable that I was in good hands. I was handling the removal from 130 miles away and had a major hitch 24hrs in advance. Strongman were flexible, understands and accommodating. They got our removal done without any drama. Great service, highly recommend. No not the cheapest on offer but you get what you pay for. It was our first time using a removals company (too old to do it ourselves now) so we didn’t quite know what to expect. My main concern was getting the required dates as various solicitors kept saying go, then the move was postponed. Then go again, then stop again.Nick was fantastic in staying really flexible to accommodate our ever changing dates. Nothing was too much trouble.We got loaded on a Thursday, Nick & Raj were superb, (just keep them supplied with tea & everything is Golden) and as our move was quite a way, we got unloaded on a Saturday. Nick & Mark this time, did an equally great job in unloading into our new house. Again, tea & biscuits to keep them happy was not an issue!Everything was relaxed, good humoured & while this kind of stuff can never be a pleasure, it was as near as possible.A great company, good lads, highly recommended, especially if flexibility with dates is required as I couldn’t find any other firm that would be flexible.Thanks to Nick & the lads at Strongarm!

What a fantastic removal firm! From start to finish Nick & the team were professional, helpful & friendly. Nothing was too much trouble making what can be a stressful time go as smooth as possible. They were brilliant with our labrador puppy too who wanted to be part of everything going on. Moving us in a heatwave cannot have been easy either. I would recommend these guys every time.

It's a thumbs up for Strongman Removals from us.We needed to move our office furniture from one building to another next door and can't praise the guys highly enough.Nick gave us an amazing quote at the outset, then due to unforeseen circumstances had to move our moving date not once, not twice but 8 times. We kept in touch with Nick whom was very understanding and accommodating. Great bunch of guys. They arrived early on our moving day and helped us move with great efficiency and lots of humour thrown in, very personable. Everything was taken care of with maximum care and consideration. The quote was very reasonable compared to others we received. Just make sure you have a kettle out! (Sorry we didn’t) We would happily use Strongman again and highly recommend.

The three chaps we had to move us yesterday were incredible, so accommodating, super efficient and reassuring, Raj, Mark and Mark were fabulous and we would highly recommend Strongman to anyone in need of muscle for your move! Strongman Removals were very accommodating even though our completion date kept moving. Mike and Nick arrived at the agreed time and moved the entire contents of our house in to the truck quickly and carefully. They went to great lengths to protect all of the delicate items and furniture. The gentlemen were very friendly and displayed good humour through the somewhat stressful process of moving home. Off-loading was similarly swift and seamless, and care was taken in the new property to cover new flooring to protect it from the toing and froing.As the purpose of a review is to assist your decision making, I would say that you should have no reservations about hiring the team for your move. I did make the mistake of packing the kettle, so it was not available during the move, but this was accepted without detriment to my goods ;-) Excellent staff and business.

We moved 31st January 2025 and these guys were amazing. We had the packing service as well as removals and nothing was chipped, broken or scratched despite having so much to move. Everything was packed so well and not sure how we would have got on without them. Downsizing from 5 bed to 3 bed is not easy but the guys took it all in their stride and we moved without the stress I was expecting! After arriving at our new home and beginning to unload everything from the vans, the street suffered a power cut, therefore the guys ended up working in to late afternoon using their mobile phone lights to reassemble furniture. Again they just got on with it and continued working until the job was completed. Thanks again to Mike, Nick and the team and I would highly recommend their services.

Throughout the whole process Strongman Removals has been fantastic! My wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with our move last Thursday and Friday.From the initial quotation to the final delivery of our items, it’s been a smooth and transparent ride. Nick came in and gave us a competitive quote and was very friendly.They loaded up our property all in one day and took it early the next day. Throughout the move they were very careful with our items and even disassembled our tv and packed it up and then reassembled.They kept in contact with us throughout the whole process to make sure we were kept up to date with reminders for invoices, contracts and more. They drove around 4 hours to our new property and unloaded everything with speed, care and smiles.Absolutely amazed with the service and would definitely recommend them!Thanks to the team for making our move super easy and as relaxing as possible!

Picking a removal company can be tough.. These guys are exceptional. Respectful of your possessions, polite and professional.We were left in a bit of need with the time scales going against us a bit but the team left us confident the job could be done. If I could give more stars, I absolutely would! Nick and Mike were incredible. I reached out to them just a day before my move to London, and they handled everything perfectly. Their prices were super reasonable, especially considering the level of professionalism and personal attention they provided.On top of that, they brought great conversation and banter, making the whole experience so much more enjoyable. From quote to unloading and everything in between, I was thoroughly impressed with the professional approach Strongman Removals had. Nick was friendly and professional from the moment he entered our property and helped us throughout the process with anything we needed. Due to simultaneously exchanging and completing in the same day, the team of Raj, Mark and Jack were very understanding of the situation and helped to relieve the stress we had of actually moving house. Once again, they were extremely professional in their approach of taking apart our furniture and loading our belongings onto the vans. We received our keys very late in the day at 4:30 and on a Friday, however, the whole team reassured us they would stay until we needed them, both unloading the van and rebuilding our furniture, eventually leaving us around 7:30pm. For the service we received the price was extremely fair and I would have no hesitation recommending Strongman Removals to anyone moving home.

A fantastic service from Nick and the team on what can only be described as a lengthy wait to move. We kept Nick informed over numerous delays in our chain and he was patient in providing dates that he could do. When we finally moved on the 29th July it was one of the hottest days of the year, Nick and his team worked like trojans in very trying conditions. We kept the drinks coming but the professional service we received both loading and unloading was second to non. Big companies may promise the earth but give me a company like Strongman who deliver what they promise and end up with very satisfied customers.

We used them for a pack and move service. They arrived the day before completion to start packing, before loading the vans on the completion day.Pros:Highly responsive, friendly, well priced, got the job done!Cons:Very late leaving the property we had sold on the date of completion. Should have done more packing the day before/planned slightly better. It was embarassing to be keeping the new owners of our old house waiting for so long.

Perhaps not totally straight forward, an art studio move from ground floor to second floor, but all was done with timely efficiency, and care - nothing damaged (apart from one grazed knuckle!). A brilliant service, very impressed with Mike and Nick.Completed an online enquiry on a Sunday evening, received a call back within 10 minutes. They moved the furniture 2 days later with a time frame to suit myself. Upon arrival they were friendly and professional, went above and beyond to assist with reassembling the furniture. Very impressed with Strongman Removals. We managed to get lucky with booking them at short notice. Mike came out to our house and surveyed what we needed to move and explained all about what would happen on moving day - which was helpful as this was a new experience for us. We found it very helpful and made us feel easier that there was always somebody we could reach by phone. On the morning we received a call letting us know what time to expect them and they arrived on time. Can not speak highly enough of this business.Our move was not perfect, with a lot of let downs by other parties meaning our move date changed numerous times - but Strongman did not let us down at all.Clear with their communication, early to the job and all the pressure of moving was taken away along with some laughter as well. Absolutely brilliant company for moving house. I would highly recommend them. Very professional service given from the office and all paperwork discussed and sent out to me beforehand. Moving day is always stressful but definitely not with these guys. They arrived on time and were very friendly and helpful to me. A couple of bits of furniture had to be dismantled and the guys were happy to do this and then re-assemble at the other end. I would definitely use again. If I could give them more stars I would!

100% fantastic experience start to finish!Beverly was exceptional with the telephone interactions, she is knowledgeable, understanding and willing to help with even the most trivial queries.I had a very professional video call with Mike who assessed our moving needs and provided us with a highly competitive quote. After a a super stressful search for a removals company on the 18th December, I came across Strongman Removals who luckily had one slot available for such a busy date. From the get go they were super responsive, and really understanding about our date not being confirmed until last minute. I highly recommend them! Everyone was so lovely, and they were so speedy with packing up our house! They made the day go smoothly despite some troubles we had with completing!

We could not have asked for a better removals company to move my mom from our family home of 53 years to her new home. Mike, Bev, Stan and the guys could not have been more professional, friendly and aware of the enormity of the task for our mom. Can't recommend these guys enough. From start to finish they were such a support during what I can only describe as a very stressful time. We were given one weeks notice to move and Mike was on the doorstep with boxes within hours and fit us in, so we could move on the day given to us. They were so professional throughout the day despite being delayed on the hottest day of the year, and left waiting! Nothing was a problem and didnt leave until we were all settled in. Smashing job and a great team of guys, who we were thoroughly thankful to! Not that I ever want to, but if i were to move again, they'd be my first port of call and i have recommended them to everyone.Thank you all again!

From start to finish Strongman Removals have been outstanding. Mike gave the quote, made all the arrangements in a very stress free manner. On the day of the move, Mark & John arrived on time. They were professional & caring of the furniture, nothing too much trouble. Without doubt the best removals company I have ever used. Mike came out & on time gave man excellent estimate quote & reassurance on the level of service, price was down the middle between other quotes. It was the professionalism from Mike which chose me go with Strongman.
